This is a brand new webpage, still very much under construction!  Please pardon the dust (and frequent design changes) as we grow.  Many changes will be made throughout 2011 to cover other topics, so please bookmark this page and come back often.  If you don't want to miss anything, go to the blog (tab on the left) and sign up for email updates!

What is Linked4Ministry?

Linked4Ministry's mission is to help Christian Ministries more fully use LinkedIn and other social media to "extend your reach into the kingdom".

Our goal is to help you discover the features and benefits of LinkedIn and other social media, and get you up to speed quickly.

Linked4Ministry is currently in the form of a webpage (that's where you are now), a WordPress blog, a LinkedIn group, a facebook page, and on twitter.  The Links are in the left panel.

This is truly a work in progress and as new ways to use social media are researched and documented, they will be added.  Your suggestions are welcome, see the 'contact us' page.

The tabs at the top left will help you navigate this website.

Much of the information is currently posted in the Linked4Ministry Blog.  Clicking on that tab will take you to the WordPress blog where you will be able to see all previous postings.  Clicking on some of the links on the LinkedIn and Facebook page will also take you to the specific articles on the blog.

As new articles, tutorials, and videos are created, they will be posted under new tabs.

Invitation to Connect on LinkedIn:

LinkedIn is all about professional networking.  I'd like to connect with any Christian ministry that has found Linked4Ministry to be a blessing, as well as ministries with a similar focus as mine, including deliverance, inner healing, and career ministries.  Please see LinkedIn Lesson 1 below, then send me an invitation at bill.bender.linkedin 'at' gmail.com - ( please substitute the 'at' with an ampersand symbol @, and omit the spaces ).  Listing an email address in that format makes it harder for the web crawlers to automatically identify email addresses and target them with spam or unsolicited email.

LinkedIn Lesson 1 - Sending Invitations:

If you send me an invitation, could I ask you to please include a short message with your vision for our connection?  I believe making invitations personal is a great way to send invitations that will be more easily accepted and appreciated.

My LinkedIn connection strategy is to personally know my connections, or at least have a common vision, so I can better know how I might be a blessing to them.  If you have found Linked4Ministry to be a blessing, let me know.  I'd be honored to be connected, and your message will inspire me to continue providing ideas!
